If you are looking for a fun but educational end-of-term treat for your class this year, why not bring them to the Corinium Museum?
This December, we are running our special offer where pupils and students can visit the museum for only £2 each as part of an organised trip. Simply book online and request to be invoiced after the visit or book and pay on the day.
While there is a focus on Roman Corinium, including the incredible mosaics and artefacts discovered in the town, our galleries also cover the history of Cirencester and the surrounding area from the pre-historic period up until the 19th century. We have lots of interactive elements, as well as gallery worksheets that can be downloaded for free from our website. We also offer introductory talks that can be aimed at any age group. These can also be booked online or over the phone.
We understand that not all schools can visit the Corinium Museum to take part in our award-winning workshops. For those teachers who would still like to support their classroom learning with some excellent resources that can help to bring history to life, we have a range of Loans Boxes that cover different periods of history.
