Being able to swim is brilliant FUN – it’s also a life skill that is good for your physical and mental health, it helps grow your confidence and could one day potentially SAVE YOUR LIFE!
But what if you can’t swim? Don’t worry, you’re not alone.
That’s why we run children and Adult classes lessons – Monday to Friday day times and after school and morning weekends
And even better you’ll have full access to the pool before and after your lesson!

26th annual woking beer festival 8/9 november

Yes, Friday night has sold out! But don't worry there are still tickets available for the two sessions on Saturday 9 November at 11am and 6pm. You'll still be spoilt for choice with a great selection of real ales, bottled beers, ciders, and perries.  New for this year is our Cellar Bar with gin bar (and beer & food!) and a wine bar in the main hall.  There is live music at each session including the best soul, pop and rock from DisCover (Friday and Saturday evening) and more live music Saturday lunch time. An enhanced range of food will be available to purchase including hot and cold options. Over 18s only. Tickets are available to purchase online or in person at the leisure centre.

alpha road yoga

Yoga focuses on postures, a series of movements designed to increase strength, flexibility and balance) making it a safe and effective way to increase physical activity. Regular yoga practice can be beneficial for high blood pressure, heart disease, aches and pains, including lower back pain,depression and stress.
Led by a qualified instructor for males and females aged 16+ All abilities are welcome.
Wednesdays 10:00-11:00 (Term time only)

october holiday activities

We've got lots for everyone to do this half term!
Come and enjoy the Leisure Lagoon with the new Martian and Time Traveller flumes, wave machine and fountain water feature, open from 10am every day - and our Disco Swim on Thursday 31 October at 6pm with our DJ playing the latest hits and old favourites!
There's still time to book onto our Ofsted registered multi-activity holiday camps for 4-13 year olds. Our fully trained activity leaders organise a day packed with sports, team games and arts and crafts.

fifty plus club

Fitness and fun for the over fifties!
Fifty Plus Club meets at Woking Leisure Centre four times a week to enjoy racquet sports, bowls, water workout, swimming and gym workouts. The club also organises a range of off-site activities including a monthly guided walk, trips to places of interest, quiz evenings, a summer garden party, concerts and even holidays!
Sessions are Monday 2pm - 5pm, Tuesday: 2pm - 5pm, Wednesday 10am - 12noon and  Thursday: 10am - 12noon

pool and leisure centre parties - the most fun with the least fuss!

Choose from a range of sports and leisure parties including trampolining, Pick’n’Mix Playstore, football, and water games parties. Why not book a party as a Christmas treat for the family, club, group or team? Hire the Leisure Lagoon and up to 120 adults and children could be enjoying the thrills and spills of our tropical water wonderland with flumes, fountains, waves and water features.

changes for the beer festival

Due to the 26th annual Woking Beer Festival taking place the following changes will apply:
  • Friday 8 November: Leisure Centre is open 6am – 5pm.
  • Saturday 9 November: Gym open 7am – 10am. Centre closed from 10am.
  • Sunday 10 November: The leisure centre reopens at 7am.
As an alternative option the gym at Woking Sportsbox is open until 10pm on Friday and 8am - 6pm on Saturday. The gym is included in leisure centre annual monthly memberships or available for casual pay and play prices.

There will also be changes to other activities during the week before the beer festival

Disney Mickey & Friends swim session

We are excited to be offering new Mickey & Friends fun swim sessions. Aimed at 3-11 year olds of all abilities, each 45 minute session includes fun and exciting themed activities centred around core aquatic skills to inspire children to keep healthy and learn a key life skill. Parents and / or guardians are required to join in the fun! 
Thursdays 1.15pm - 2.00pm (term time).
Thursdays 11.30am - 12.15pm (holidays)
