Adult Swimming Lessons at King Alfred

⭐️Adult Swimming Lessons ⭐️ It’s never to late to start your swimming journey! Whether you are at the beginning and learning to swim for the first time or looking to improve your technique and build on existing skills! Starting October the 11th and running weekly on Mondays and Thursdays at 18:00-18:45 Sessions are for beginner level to improver. Guidance and rules for using the Steam Room

Only customers aged 16 and above may use these facilities

All customers must wear the wrist band issued at reception

All Jewellery must be removed

Appropriate clothing must be worn

Please shower before using the facilities

Drink Plenty of water

Maximum time of 10 minutes per session

Rest between exposure to heat

Leave the facility imediatly and seek help if you feel unwell

please note that the steam room operates at a tempreature of between 40-50 degress and with a humidity of 8-100%

please note that the sauna operates at a tempraeture between 85 - 100 degrees

Plan your half term at Portslade

We will be running gymnastics, trampolining and multisport during October Half Term! (Monday 25th - Friday 29th October)

We will be running multisport 9.30 to 12.30 on Tuesday 26th October and Thursday 28th October for children age 5 to 12 years old.

These session will all be supervised so you can drop your child/ren off to us and we will look after them. The session will include mix team games, party games and everyone favorite the bouncy castle.

All your child/ren will need to bring is a water bottle, snack and suitable clothing and footwear.

All children are advised to bring a bottle of water, snack and wear suitable clothing.

We will be running Trampolining on Monday 25th October;

5 to 8 years old 12.30 - 1.30 pm
8 to 16 years old 1.45 - 3.00 pm

Play 5-a-side with Powerplay football at Stanley Deason!

Powerplay football are extremely excited to provide 5 a side football at Stanley Deason when the current new pitch refurbishments are completed! Aiming to be running on Thursday’s again from November 2021 too, there has never been a better time to get your mates together and join a league!

What's happening to the tennis courts at Withdean??

Many of you have noticed and asked us what's going on! Well, the courts themselves are getting an update, and they should be reopened in 6-8 weeks BUT there's more, we are also installing two netball courts which will be ready in spring!
