Winter wonderland Inc Fun Day

We had a lovely time at yesterday' s Inclusive Fun Day! 

We made snowflakes, decorated the bouncy castle, and made marshmallow snow men, which were absolutely delicious! Alongside this we had boccia, badminton and curling. Our Inc Fun Day runs on the last Sunday of every month. We will be Scheming for Dec/Jan so watch this space!

We won BIG at the Active Sussex Sports Awards! 

We were thrilled to attend the Active Sussex Sports Awards on Thursday night! We were seriously not expecting it! We won Best inclusive programme in Sussex, and Jackie Wood won Outstanding Contribution to sport.

Along side the award for our Healthy Communities team, our very admired coach Jackie Wood also scooped up the OUTSTANDING contribution to sports award. Jackie has been working in sports and coaching for over 30 years and the amount she has done for communities in Brighton wont fit in this page! Have you got a story to share about Jackie?

Future Plans for King Alfred

The King Alfred Leisure Centre is extremely popular and plays an essential role in providing sport and leisure opportunities for the city. We are aware that the facility is increasingly challenging to operate and manage with significant maintenance needs.

Therefore, as a key part of the delivery of the approved Sports Facilities Investment Plan we are looking at developing plans for a new facility to replace the King Alfred Leisure Centre

Seasonal Singalong at Moulsecoomb

Join us at Moulsecoomb community leisure centre for a seasonal singalong! Many of you know the bi-weekly singing group that takes place at Moulsecoomb, and this Christmas, they want to welcome you to join them! New Pool Hoist at Prince Regent

Our new Oxford Dipper pool hoist is installed and active down at Prince Regent. This is another move towards making our centres inclusive and accessible. We offer a range of swimming activities for SEN and disabled customers, get in touch if you would like to learn more.
