Walking Sports across the city 

Jackie and her Active Communities team have developed a fantastic walking sport programme for those who find high impact exercise too demanding. Get in touch if you are interested in this programme, keeping everyone active in 23!

King Alfred Pool Closure

The swimming pools at the King Alfred Leisure Centre will unfortunately remain closed until Easter.

The closure follows a breakdown of the 40-year-old boilers and associated control panel which require major repairs. We have contacted swim members directly but if you would like to learn more about what is going on at the centre please "learn more"

Studio Aqua!

In light of the pool closures Sharon and the Aqua team have decided to provide a similar class on dry ground! 
Sharon's Aqua/body conditioning is perfect for those who attend the underwater class, with the same range of exercises but without the splashing! Mondays at 10:30, in Studio 1. Book on now!

Pick Your Sport

As the weather turns many of our local sports clubs and teams are bringing their sport inside. With a range of sports halls at Moulsecoomb, King Alfred, Stanley and Portslade for use by members and teams alike, get in touch today with your nearest centre to discuss hall hire!

INC FUN DAY Spring Fling

Our Very Early Spring Fling will take place on February 26th at Moulsecoomb Community Leisure Centre and will be the first Inclusive fun day of the year. Expect all of the regular fun and games, the bouncy run, badminton, and boccia... but also a special Spring Fling Dance Workshop, garland making, and a seedling workshop! We are asking families to bring along £3 each to attend in order to help us cover our costs but if this is difficult please get in touch.

Inflatable updates! 

With the influx of swimmers from King Alfred, Prince Regent Swimming Complex have decided to reduce down the inflatable sessions from this Saturday. We are now only doing one per week, Saturday, 4.30 pm - 5.15pm. Don't panic though! There are still spaces for this Saturday's session; get in touch today to book your Aqua run fun! New Step class at Withdean

Come and try out our new step class! Monday 11.00-11.45 Step with Mariangela This choreographed step class is a great way to improve your cardiovascular fitness and coordination while having fun! You will be taught steps to the music to build a step sequence with rhythm and flow. Bookable now online or via reception!

Walking Netball at Moulsecoomb

Have you tried.... Walking Netball? What's that you ask... Walking Netball is a friendly and inclusive programme, allowing women the opportunity to find their place in the sport. It’s netball, but at a walking pace where the rules are slightly tweaked. Come try it with us at Moulsecoomb every Tuesday 10-11am. Sessions are just £3.50 per person!

New Pool Hoist at Prince Regent

Our new Oxford Dipper pool hoist is installed and active down at Prince Regent. This is another move towards making our centres inclusive and accessible. We offer a range of swimming activities for SEN and disabled customers, get in touch if you would like to learn more.

Alongside our memberships we are proud to offer Pay-as-you-go options. Unlike many of the other health and wellness centres in the city we don't discriminate non-members. After a one off joining fee you can come in for PAYG sessions, classes, swims at all of our sites!
