Welcome to the first ever Active Communities (AC) update for Fenland. From November 2019, we will be sending out regular newsletters so you can read about the great things the team has been up to!
I have been in the role of Active Communities Manager for Fenland for 6 months and I've used this time to network with a wide variety of groups and partners from all over the district. The great thing from my perspective has been the willingness from different organisations to engage with the Active Communities role and therefore improve people's lifestyle through activity.
I'm keen to keep meeting new people all over the district so if I haven't spoken with you and you would like to arrange a time to speak to me, please feel free to contact me on the following details below:

Active Communities Fenland has recently engaged with the local Event Support Ambassador for ParkRun to ascertain the demand for a Junior ParkRun in March. A community meeting was held in September at March Community Centre to begin the implementation process of this project. Please look out for further updates in upcoming newsletters.
